What is CrossFit ?
CrossFit is constantly varied, functional training at high intensity.
The 10 general physical skills that CrossFit involve are:
Cardiovascular and respiratory endurance – the ability of the body’s system for collecting, processing and delivery of oxygen.
Endurance – the ability of the body system to process, deliver, store and use energy.
Force – the possibility of a muscular unit, or a combination of muscular units, to apply force increasing.
Flexibility – the ability to maximize the range of motion.
Fast Power – the possibility of a muscular unit, or a combination of muscular units, to apply with maximum strength in minimum time.
Speed – the ability to minimize the time in a cycle of a repeating movement.
Coordination – the possibility to combine different individual movement patterns to a singular different movements.
Agility – the ability to minimize the other, the transition time from one movement pattern.
Balance – the opportunity to gain control of the placement of the body of the center of gravity with respect to its support base, and to keep for a certain time.
Accuracy – the ability to get control on the movement in a particular direction, or at a certain intensity and to keep for a certain time.
